1. Create Video or Audio for OMN Delivery:

OMN accepts high quality video or audio in two ways: an RSS 2.0 feed or Personal Publishing through the OMN Viewer. RSS feed distribution provides easy use for those publishing new programs frequently. Personal Publishing provides an easy, drag-and-drop way for content providers to upload their shows to OMN.

Regardless of which publishing method you choose, you will need to prepare your program files for online distribution via OMN’s grid delivery network. Powered by Verisign’s Intelligent Content Delivery Network (CDN), your programs will be available in the OMN Viewer for download by the OMN community.

OMN RECOMMENDATIONS:

2. Personal Publishing: Three Simple Steps


	Download free OMN Viewer. After installation, sign up with OMN by creating a user name and providing an email address.		Contact us to establish Personal Publishing. Send us a note to partnersupport AT omn DOT org. Include your OMN user name and the type of programming you’d like to publish – either Free (no Digital Rights Management) or Premium (with DRM).		Once activated, click on the Publish tab of the OMN Viewer and select ‘Upload a File.’Simply browse or drag your file, provide some details about your program, and it will start uploading. Running time, file size, and quality are virtually limitless.

3. RSS 2.0: Three Simple Steps


	Download free OMN Viewer. After installation, sign up with OMN by creating a user name and providing an email address.		Click on the Publish tab of the OMN Viewer and select ‘RSS Publishing.’ Input the URL of where your RSS feed is hosted. If you don’t have a server to host your feed, use a hosting service like FeedBurner.		Complete the RSS Details Form. Provide details about yourself and your RSS feed on the brief details form and then submit. Your RSS feed will be reviewed before it is available for download by the OMN community.
